Hello i installed a few mi band 8 games on my band and the play button is always stuck at the top left corner and the games dont work. The ones made by xiaomi work. I have the mi band 8 global, do these only work on the chinese version?

I had same problem, so I flashed Chinese firmware 1.5.190 now it works. Search for it on the mi band 8 forum.
